Principles of Fertigation
|
Irrigation water plus fertiliser = Fertigation
Whilst most farmers see Fertigation mainly as a way to apply nitrogen, there are many other benefits associated with this application system. When used strategically throughout the watering season the benefits and cost savings can be maximised. A large number of NZ farmers and growers are using Fertigation successfully on pastures crops, fruits and vegetables. |
A successful Fertigation system requires the appropriate injector pump that will deliver the correct quantity of fertiliser concentration per hectare at the right pressure to get the desired result.
We have access to a range of injector pumps that have the ability to pump various volumes (litres per hour) to fertigate all area sizes covered by irrigation systems. These injection systems are suitable for guns, K-lines, turbo rainers, laterals and pivot systems.
